Great story by Google exec Vic Gundotra about a call he got from Steve Jobs on a Sunday about how the yellow “o” in the Google logo didn’t look quite right in a specific setting and needed to be fixed.
A perfect example of Steve’s laser focus on even the tiniest of details. And another idea of why saying “no” is a big part of Apple’s success.
Gundotra has done some silly stuff to make fun of Apple since the rivalry between the companies has gotten more serious. But this is a great little anecdote, showing genuine admiration and appreciation.
