Google’s Android design guidelines
Solid (if obvious) advice for Android app developers, like “Make important things fast”, and a pretty broad resource.
It’s good to see Google doing anything to make the Android Market a better platform for app makers and a better, more consistent experience for users. But the easy first question is: Will the majority of Android app developers actually pay attention to a guide like this?
Also, interesting nuance from Dustin Curtis:
The Android Design site is just a list of interface components, whereas the iOS HIG is an implementation guide. Huge difference.
